The principles of this diet are quite simple:

  • when preparing a dish, it is possible to use various types of onions: onions, red, white, green, shallots, leeks;
  • in one soup it is allowed to combine several varieties of onions;
  • It is advisable to use not only the bulbs themselves, but also the arrows (feather) of the plant;
  • the diet does not prohibit the introduction of the following products into the soup: celery root, petioles and leaves; parsnips, carrots and Jerusalem artichokes; zucchini, zucchini, squash and squash; bell pepper, as well as garlic, parsley, dill, cilantro, thyme and any types of cabbage;

The second diet option consists of a 10-day diet of similar soup:

Cut the leeks into thin slices, and cut the onions into quarter rings (or smaller).

At the moment, there are many recipes for lean soups in which onions are the main ingredient. All of them are good for health and figure, which means their use will only bring benefits.

Simple onion soup

To boil it you will need to prepare the following ingredients:

  • onions – 6 pcs;
  • cabbage – 1 piece;
  • bell pepper – 2 pcs;
  • celery – 1 medium bunch;
  • carrots – 2 pcs;
  • parsley;
  • tomatoes (both fresh and canned are allowed) – 4 pcs;

All products should be finely chopped and placed in cold water (3 liters) and boiled for 10 minutes; at the end of cooking, you can lightly add salt to the dish.

Onion soup with tomato juice

In order to cook a dietary soup according to the following recipe, you will need 1.5 liters of tomato juice, 5 onions, 200 grams of cabbage, the same amount of celery root, 2 pieces of sweet pepper, 6 pieces of carrots, 5 pieces of tomatoes and 400 grams of beans in pods.

All components are chopped and poured with juice, then cooked over high heat for 15 minutes without covering.

After this time, reduce the heat and add salt and pepper, then cover with a lid until the vegetables are completely cooked. All products should be covered with juice; if there is little juice, add water.

Finnish cheese onion soup

Chop ½ head of cabbage and cut one small celery root into squares. Heat 2 large tablespoons of olive oil and combine cabbage with celery, 1 chopped carrot and 1 pepper.

Peel 5 cloves of garlic and squeeze it through a press into the resulting puree. Then add tomatoes (2 pcs) and pour in chicken broth (1 l).

After the composition comes to a boil, you can reduce the heat and add 2 large spoons of grated processed cheese. Add a pinch of oregano and basil, and before serving, you can garnish with parsley.

French soup

To prepare this dish you will need to purchase:

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil;
  • 1 onion;
  • 1 small carrot, cut into slices;
  • 2 cloves finely chopped garlic;
  • 1 large spoon of flour;
  • 1 slice of bread;
  • 20 grams grated Gruyère cheese.

Heat olive oil in a heavy-bottomed saucepan. Add onion and fry, covered, for 5 minutes until soft. The onions should be golden and full of flavor and soft when pressed with your finger.

Place the carrots in the container and continue cooking.

In the last few minutes of cooking, add the garlic, then sprinkle the flour on the onions and mix well. Increase the heat and, stirring constantly, add water, then cover with a lid and simmer for 15-20 minutes.

The bread can be dried additionally on the grill or in the oven. Next, pour the soup into heat-resistant bowls, place 2 slices of bread on top of the soup and sprinkle them with a layer of cheese, keep in the oven for a while and serve.

Leek soup

This option is prepared from the following products:

  • skinless chicken – 400 g;
  • water – 2 l;
  • diced potatoes – 300 g;
  • leek – 1 piece;
  • salt and pepper to taste.

One serving of this dish contains 38 kcal, and preparation does not take much time: chop the fillet into small squares, add potatoes, place in a container with water on the fire and cook until almost done. 5 minutes before the end, turn off the heat.

Salt, pepper and add leeks cut into rings. Let it brew on the stove.

Irish onion soup with oatmeal

Experience traditional Irish cuisine. This version uses leeks and milk.

Ingredients:

  • leeks - six pieces
  • crushed oatmeal - a couple of tbsp. spoons
  • chicken broth – 1 l 200 ml
  • milk – 1 l 200 ml
  • a little plum. oils
  • Additives and spices: salt, black. they say pepper, ground nutmeg. walnut, fresh parsley.
  • optional for serving: cream (low-fat), chives.

Preparation:

Boil milk and broth together. Pour oatmeal into a saucepan and cook over low heat.

In a second thick-walled saucepan, melt the butter. Fry leeks, cut into pieces no larger than 2 centimeters, over low heat until soft.

Place the leek in a saucepan with soup and cook for about fifteen minutes until the oatmeal is ready.

At the end add salt and pepper. Serve garnished with parsley and chives. You can also add cream.

The best onion soup recipes for weight loss

The cooking technology is simple; it will not be difficult for the housewife to cook a dietary dish from available products. The recipes differ in composition, but one main vegetable remains unchanged - onion.

Classic soup

Required ingredients:

  • white cabbage - half a head;
  • onions – 3 heads;
  • sweet bell pepper – 1 pc.;
  • carrot - 1 root vegetable;
  • tomatoes – 300 g;
  • drinking water – 2 l.;
  • salt, spices, fresh herbs - to the hostess’s taste.

Cooking diagram:

  1. Peel the onions and cut into cubes.
  2. Separately chop the cabbage.
  3. Wash the carrots and cut into strips.
  4. Chop the tomatoes into cubes.
  5. Sauté the onion in a minimum amount of oil over low heat for up to 3 minutes.
  6. Place all cooked vegetables in a saucepan and add water. Bring to a boil, add salt.

Cook over low heat for up to 10 minutes. Pour chopped herbs into a serving plate.

Onion and celery soup

To cook a dietary dish you need:

  • white cabbage - 1/2 fork;
  • carrots and Bulgarian onions – 1 pc.;
  • onion – 3 medium heads;
  • tomatoes – 3 pieces;
  • celery - medium bunch;
  • spices, salt.

Cooking diagram:

  1. Cut all the vegetables into small strips, shred the cabbage as if for pickling.
  2. Fry the onion with the addition of olive oil (1/2 teaspoon);
  3. Remove the skin from the tomato after dousing it with boiling water. Cut into small pieces.
  4. Place vegetables in boiling water and add salt.
  5. Reduce heat, cover and leave for 15 minutes.

When the vegetables become soft, add allspice and spices to taste. With celery, the effectiveness of onion soup for weight loss is enhanced.

With tomato juice

Required ingredients:

  • onion – 4 heads;
  • tomato juice – one and a half liters;
  • cabbage - half a small head of cabbage;
  • sweet green pepper – 1 pc.;
  • green beans – 200 g;
  • celery – 80 g root;
  • tomatoes up to 300 g;
  • carrots - 2 medium root vegetables;
  • salt, spices, herbs to taste.

Cooking diagram:

  1. Chop the onion and simmer lightly in oil for up to 2 minutes.
  2. Peel the vegetables and cut into strips.
  3. Place everything in a saucepan, add juice. Once it boils, you can add salt and pepper.

The soup is cooked until the vegetables are soft (up to 15 minutes). If the cabbage is young, then it will take less time to cook (up to 10 minutes).

French calorie burning soup with onion and cheese

A recipe with low-fat cheese will help effectively rid the body of toxins and fat layer.

Required ingredients:

  • 6 small onions;
  • whole grain flour – 90 g;
  • cheese with fat content up to 45% - 140 g;
  • broth from cooked vegetables;
  • 5 cloves of garlic;
  • black bread - 3.4 slices.

Cooking diagram:

  1. Peel the onions and cut into thin half rings.
  2. Press the garlic cloves or grate them on a fine grater.
  3. Fry the onion in a drop of oil for up to 2 minutes. Add flour and garlic. Stir with a spatula and cook until golden brown.
  4. Place the resulting vegetables into a saucepan and add broth. Place on the fire, let it boil and cook for 10 minutes.
  5. Grate the cheese and add to the soup. If it completely dissolves, you can remove it from the stove.
  6. Cut whole grain bread into cubes, place in a frying pan preheated without fat and lightly dry.

Pour the soup, add crackers, garnish with onions and small herbs.

Onion soup with red beets

Required ingredients:

  • onion – 4 heads;
  • beets – 2 pcs.;
  • carrots – 2 pcs.;
  • cabbage - half a fork;
  • garlic – 3 cloves;
  • tomato (paste) – 2 tablespoons;
  • salt, spices to taste.

Cooking diagram

  1. Cut onions, beets and carrots into cubes or strips. Fry in a frying pan without oil, add a little water for up to 10 minutes.
  2. Chop the cabbage, sprinkle on top of the vegetables, and simmer for 12 minutes.
  3. Transfer the entire mass into a cooking pan and add water. Then add tomato, garlic and salt.

After 15 - 20 minutes, the beetroot soup is ready.

Weight loss soup with onions and mushrooms

To prepare you will need:

  • 10 onions;
  • half a kilo of fresh champignons;
  • 1 medium head of cabbage;
  • up to 5 pieces of bell pepper;
  • spices, salt to taste.

Cooking diagram:

  1. Cut cabbage forks into thin strips. Prepare the pepper into cubes. Place in a pan of water and cook until the vegetables soften.
  2. Cut the onions into half rings and the champignons into slices. Fry in a small amount of oil and place in a saucepan. Add salt and spices.

When the vegetables are soft, turn off the heat. Decorate the plate with fresh herbs.
