Pink salmon baked in the oven - tasty and juicy fish in foil

Since the main problem of pink salmon is dryness, it needs to be neutralized with something. In our case, we used butter. It makes any fish juicy, but we do not recommend using this method for fatty fish - only for dry ones! You will be surprised how tasty the dish can be with a minimum amount of ingredients.

Ingredients:

  • Pink salmon (steak) – 4 pcs.;
  • Lemon – ½ piece;
  • Dill, parsley;
  • Butter – 100 g;
  • Salt pepper.

Advice

Take more dill than parsley, at least 2 times. It goes well with red fish, making it more flavorful.

Preparation:

  1. Remove the butter from the refrigerator; it should melt so that you can easily mix it with the rest of the ingredients.
  2. Remove the zest from the citrus and carefully remove all the seeds.
  3. Chop the greens - finely chop the dill and parsley with a sharp knife.
  4. Blend the lemon with a blender.
  5. Mix butter and herbs, add lemon pulp.
  6. Place pink salmon steak on a sheet of foil. Salt and pepper.
  7. Spread the resulting sauce evenly on top of each piece.
  8. Wrap the foil and bake the fish in an oven preheated to 180°C. Cooking time – 20 minutes.

Pink salmon in the oven under an oil-lemon coat turns out juicy only in foil. Simply baked in an open form, it will also be tasty, well browned, but a bit dry. This dish will be a worthy decoration for the holiday table. It prepares quickly, you don’t have to conjure it for hours, and the result will exceed all expectations. Choose any side dish and enjoy the exquisite taste.

Advice

It is important to prepare the fish correctly. Do not try to speed up the defrosting process. It should thaw slowly. It is best to put it on the bottom shelf of the refrigerator for a day. If pink salmon is defrosted quickly (in water or in the microwave), it will come out dry no matter how you bake it.

Whole sleeve

Using this method, pink salmon turns out almost like hot smoked salmon. It is baked in its own juice. In addition to fish, only salt, spices and lemon are used. A recipe for those who prefer naturalness. There are no sauces here - just the taste of the fish.

Ingredients:

  • Pink salmon – 2 carcasses;
  • Lemon – 1 pc.;
  • Spices for fish;
  • Salt - to taste.

Cooking process:

  1. Clean the carcasses and wash them well. Separate the tail and fins.
  2. Sprinkle the fish with spices and salt inside and out.
  3. Cut the lemon into thin slices and then in half.
  4. Place lemon slices into the belly of pink salmon (5-6 slices for each carcass).
  5. Cover with cling film and refrigerate for 2 hours.
  6. Transfer the pink salmon to a baking sleeve and pierce it in several places. Oven temperature 170°C.

Advice

Try using sea salt, it will make the dish healthier. Place half a bay leaf in your sleeve, it will become even more fragrant.

Juicy fish in cream is very easy to make; it is important to follow the sequence of steps, which guarantees an impeccable result in the form of a delicious dinner.

  • 400 g pink salmon fillet (or steak);
  • 200 ml. cream (fat content from 10%);
  • Salt;
  • Ground pepper.

Tender pink salmon in cream

Preparation:

  1. At the initial stage, we pay attention to preparing the fish. It is better to give preference to chilled pink salmon of good quality; as a result of baking, it will definitely be tastier and at the same time much healthier. In addition to fillets, fish steaks are suitable for this version of the dish. If you still need to defrost the fish, it is better to do it gradually. First, transfer from the freezer to the refrigerator for 5-6 hours, and only then finally defrost under normal conditions. Before further cooking, the fish should be allowed to dry thoroughly; you can pat it thoroughly with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
  2. Cut the fish into portions. It is optimal for them to be medium in size. To prevent the fish from turning into mush when baking, it is better to fillet it with the skin on, then the finished pink salmon will retain its shape and will look especially appetizing and beautiful.
  3. For baking, choose a heat-resistant form with sides of at least 7-10 cm. This is necessary so that the cream boiling during cooking does not spill over the oven and does not burn. The form does not need to be greased. During the cooking process, it will be stewed, that is, sticking to the pan is minimized. We place the fish in a loose order so that the pieces do not touch each other; if the pink salmon has skin, then it is better to place it with this side down. Now you can salt the pink salmon. It is ideal to do this with coarse sea salt. Variations with additives, such as rosemary, will fit perfectly into the concept of the dish, and Adyghe salt will also perfectly highlight the delicate creamy taste.
  4. Now it's time for the ground pepper. In addition to traditional allspice, you can use a universal mixture of peppers with an incomparable aroma, which will add piquancy and a special taste to the dish. Spices and seasonings such as rosemary, dried garlic, and thyme also form an excellent tandem with pink salmon dishes. You can give preference to a universal seasoning for fish. Everything here is individual and optional.
  5. At the final stage of preparation, fill our fish with cream. For this recipe, fat content does not matter; the most ordinary drinking cream is quite suitable. It is better to leave fattier ones for sauce or cream, and in this case even cream can be easily replaced with full-fat homemade milk, which will not spoil the taste of the dish, but rather present it in the most advantageous light. Please ensure that the free edge of the sides of the mold remains at least 2-3 cm after pouring the cream.
  6. Place the fish to bake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees. Cooking time: 30-35 minutes. If it burns, you can cover the pan with foil. Also, this lid option will allow you to get a more delicate taste of the finished dish, similar to stewed pink salmon. The fish will turn out drier if you don’t cover it with anything.

We take the finished pink salmon out of the oven, decorate with fresh herbs and serve with a side dish of boiled potatoes. A nourishing, aromatic and appetizing dish will not leave anyone indifferent.

This option is suitable for a holiday table and Sunday dinner. Onions and mayonnaise will add juiciness to the baked fish. One piece will make 4 servings.

  1. First, you need to prepare the carcass: clean it, remove the fins and tail, cut along the ridge, separate it. Make two from each fillet received. Salt, sprinkle with spices, coat with mayonnaise, let marinate for half an hour.
  2. Chop the onion, grate the carrots. Fry together.
  3. Cook the champignons in a separate pan. First we cut them into strips. Bring to taste, that is, add salt at the end of frying.
  4. Place vegetables, mushrooms and grated cheese on pieces of pink salmon.
  5. Place in the oven and bake at 180°C until golden brown (as in the photo). This will take approximately 40 minutes.

If you forgot to buy cheese or for some reason do not want to add it to the dish, use foil: seal the workpiece with an envelope, but not too tightly, and cook for about half an hour in a preheated oven.

Juicy pink salmon baked in the oven with cheese and tomatoes

This recipe makes it very juicy. Tomatoes provide a lot of liquid and therefore our fish will literally be soaked in it. This dish can be prepared both for dinner and for a holiday. After all, it is not only tasty, but also very beautiful to look at.

Ingredients:

  • Pink salmon – 1 piece;
  • Tomatoes – 2 pcs.;
  • Garlic – 2 cloves;
  • Cheese – 100 gr.;
  • Sour cream – 200 gr.;
  • Salt, pepper - to taste.

Preparation:

1. We will need fillet. Therefore, we wash the fish and remove the tail, head and entrails. We also separate the pulp from the bones. Cut the finished product into portions. Place immediately on a baking sheet greased with vegetable oil.

2. Let's prepare the sauce. To do this, peel the garlic and pass it through a press. Add sour cream and mix thoroughly.

3. Cut the tomatoes into circles, after removing the stalk. Immediately grate the cheese on a coarse grater.

4. Salt and pepper the fish to taste. You can sprinkle with any herbs or seasonings you like. Then brush the pieces with some of the sauce. Place the tomatoes and brush with sour cream mixture again. Sprinkle with cheese.

I poured some water into the mold, but I shouldn't have done that. Since tomatoes produce enough liquid for our fish.

5. Cover the baking sheet with foil on top and place in the oven. I preheated it to 200°. The dish takes about 30 minutes to prepare.

It turned out incredibly tasty and tender. Try it, you won't regret it!
