This is my favorite recipe, tested over the years. During the cooking process, the fish is soaked in the juice and aroma of vegetables, which makes it juicy and soft. Mayonnaise further enhances the taste, and the dish becomes a real culinary delight.

To prepare you will need:

  • 400 g cod fillet;
  • 1 zucchini;
  • 1 carrot;
  • 2 onions;
  • 1 tbsp. homemade mayonnaise;
  • 1 tbsp. lemon juice;
  • salt, ground black pepper;
  • vegetable oil.

Cooking steps with photos:

1. Grease a baking dish or baking sheet with a small amount of vegetable oil. Place the fish in the form, salt, pepper and pour lemon juice over it. Leave to marinate.

2. Cut the zucchini into thin slices, the onion into small cubes, and grate the carrots on a coarse grater.

3. Heat a little sunflower oil in two frying pans. Place the zucchini in one, and the onions and carrots in the other.

4. Fry the vegetables for 5-7 minutes until half cooked, stirring occasionally. At the end of cooking, add a little salt and spices. You can fry the vegetables separately in one pan.

5. Place fried zucchini in an even layer on top of the marinated fish. Place the onion-carrot mixture on top. Make a mesh of mayonnaise on top.

Ingredients: 630 g fish fillet, 3-4 garlic cloves, 1.5 tbsp. very heavy cream, a large onion, 70 g butter, a few leaves of fresh parsley, zest of a medium lemon, 40 g Parmesan, 3 tbsp. spoons of breadcrumbs, salt, large egg, 700 g of potatoes.

  1. All potatoes are mashed. First, the vegetable is boiled in salted boiling water until softened, then mashed with a masher with half the butter, half a glass of hot cream and an egg. You cannot prepare puree for this casserole using a blender.
  2. The remaining oil is heated in a heat-resistant form. Chopped onions, garlic and citrus zest are fried on it. When the ingredients are browned, the container is removed from the heat and large pieces of washed and dried fillet are placed in it.
  3. The remaining cream with salt and chopped herbs is poured on top.
  4. Next, warm mashed potatoes are distributed, which should cover the entire layer of cod.
  5. The cheese is grated, mixed with breadcrumbs and distributed on top of the future casserole.

  1. Grate carrots and celery using a grater with the largest holes.
  2. The onion is cut into the thinnest half rings.
  3. In well-heated oil, all the prepared ingredients are fried one by one. First, onions until golden, and then celery and carrots.
  4. Tomato paste is added to the prepared vegetables. Together, the products are fried for another 8-9 minutes.
  5. Pour 2 tbsp into the container. warm boiled water, add salt, sand and all the spices. The marinade simmers for 17-20 minutes under the lid, after which vinegar is poured into it.
  6. The fish is divided into medium pieces, which need to be fried until golden brown.
  7. Next, the slices are immersed in the marinade. They need to be completely submerged in the mixture with a fork.
  8. The dish is stewed for another 8-9 minutes.

The treat is served with boiled or mashed potatoes.

3. Grind the cheese on a medium grater. Peel the garlic cloves and squeeze them through a garlic press.
