Recipe for roasting with stems
Preparation:
- Young beets can be roasted without completely cutting off the stems. To do this, take 1 kg of vegetable, turn on the oven to preheat to 220 degrees. Line the pan with a sheet of aluminum foil.
- Wipe the vegetables with a napkin or sponge. Cut the stems with scissors, leaving about 5 cm. Do not remove the tails!
- Gently rinse the root vegetables with water to remove any dirt. Place them on the foil in one layer. Cover the top with foil, sealing the edges well. The baking time depends on the size of the vegetable. After approximately 45 minutes, you can check the readiness with a skewer.
You can bake beets in the oven whole or in pieces. The second option is much faster in terms of time.
