Classic PP Brownie

Those who do not want to include fatty and high-calorie foods in their diet can make brownies from healthy ingredients. Sometimes vegetable and fruit purees and low-fat cottage cheese are used as a basis. Good additions include nuts, cherries, dried fruits and candied fruits.

Some people choose to substitute sugar to reduce calories. For this there is stevia, honey, agave syrup. One of the dietary recipes is interesting, requiring a quarter of an hour of time with the yield of the product - 2 servings.

Ingredients

To make pp brownies you will need the following ingredients:

  • 100 g cocoa;
  • from 10 to 100 g of honey, to taste;
  • 2 eggs;
  • 300 ml water.

Recipe

Making healthy brownies is easy. You need to do the following:

  1. Pour cocoa with water and boil in a water bath.
  2. Add a sugar substitute, which is presented here in the form of honey, to the mixture.
  3. While everything continues to cook, separate the yolks and whites by breaking the eggs. Shake the first ones and add to the pan with cocoa.
  4. Turning off the heat, you need to quickly beat the whites into a dense foam with stable peaks and add them to the chocolate mixture.
  5. After mixing thoroughly, pour everything into the mold and bake for 8 minutes at 200 degrees. You should not overexpose it.
  6. All that remains is to let it cool and put it in the refrigerator overnight.

Cooking steps

  1. First you need to prepare the base for the dough for the future chocolate brownie using the PP system. Wash and soak 200 grams of blue beans in water. Leave it for a couple of hours so that it swells a little.
  2. Add sunflower oil to the beans and grind everything in a blender. You should have a paste-like consistency. If the mass comes out a little dry (and this will depend on the beans), add a little more sunflower oil.
  3. Add coarse oatmeal to the resulting mixture and mix again.
  4. Also add sugar or sweetener to the brownie batter to suit your taste.
  5. Add 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder and mix everything thoroughly. Knead the dough for the future dessert.
  6. Cut the protein bar into small cubes. This photo shows a strawberry flavored bar, but a nut or chocolate flavor would go perfectly with a chocolate brownie. Add the cubes into the dough, mix and you can begin to finish preparing the dessert.
  7. Bake the brownies in the oven for 30-40 minutes at 190 degrees.
  8. Once cooking is complete, let the dessert cool completely. Only then remove it from the mold. Since it is not advisable to remove hot dishes from the mold, they may settle and lose their shape.
  9. Cut the dessert into large pieces. If desired, it can be decorated with fruits or chopped nuts. Bon appetit!

Classic Pumpkin Brownie Recipe

Pumpkin Brownie
It's best to start with the easier-to-make classic chocolate pumpkin brownie. The only condition, other than the desire to make a real pumpkin brownie, is the presence of a blender, since most stages of the culinary process require high-quality whipping of ingredients.

Basic Ingredients

To make 12 servings of pumpkin chocolate brownie you will need:

  • dark chocolate ̶400 g;
  • pumpkin ̶ 800 grams;
  • wheat flour - 2 cups;
  • eggs - 10 pcs;
  • sugar - 2 cups;
  • butter ̶ 220 g;
  • cream cheese ̶ 200 g;
  • full fat milk - 140 ml;
  • vanilla extract - 2 tsp;
  • baking powder - 2 tsp;
  • salt - a pinch.

Some ingredients can be replaced with more affordable ones without any damage to the taste of the finished brownie. For example, cream cheese - for a creamy mascarpone product or for fatty cottage cheese; vanilla extract = vanilla sugar. Dark chocolate has a rich aroma, but is unloved by many due to its bitter taste. Instead of dark chocolate, you can use dark chocolate. Instead of pumpkin, use ready-made pumpkin puree.

Cooking process

Puree pumpkin in a blender

Preparation takes about an hour, and if you use ready-made pumpkin, the process is slightly shortened.

  1. Prepare pumpkin puree. Peel the pumpkin, cut into small pieces, which are individually wrapped in foil and baked in an oven preheated to 180 degrees. Cool the baked pumpkin slightly and blend in a blender.
  2. In one container, melt 200 g of butter and chocolate broken into small pieces in a water bath.
  3. Beat 8 eggs with a glass of sugar in a blender, and pour the resulting mass into the melted chocolate with constant stirring.
  4. Combine the resulting mass with flour, salt and baking powder. Pour in the milk and add 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract (or vanilla sugar). Mix thoroughly with a spatula. Now the chocolate dough is prepared.
  5. Combine pumpkin puree with mascarpone (cottage cheese, cream cheese) and add the remaining ingredients: a glass of sugar, 2 eggs, a teaspoon of vanilla sugar. Beat with a blender.
  6. Grease the mold with the remaining oil. Place the chocolate batter into the pan and pour the pumpkin mixture on top. You can use a wooden stick to draw patterns on a fairly dense pumpkin mixture.
  7. Bake in a preheated oven (180 degrees) for about 40 minutes.

When the pumpkin brownie is ready, which can be determined by the wonderful aroma of the finished chocolate dessert, after cooling slightly, it must be cut into portions.

Recipe for PP zucchini brownies

If pumpkin is often used in the preparation of sweet desserts, then it can be difficult to imagine zucchini as the basis for pp brownies. But not in our case! Surprisingly, you can even make low-calorie brownies using zucchini!

  • 300 grams of zucchini. In this recipe we will use the zucchini variety of squash. They are more delicate in taste, have a pleasant aroma and texture. 100 grams of zucchini contains only 16 calories! First, the zucchini should be peeled and grated on a medium grater.
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder and the same amount of soda.
  • 1 tablespoon natural cocoa to add chocolate flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil. Can be replaced with any other oil.
  • ½ cup rice flour.
  • ½ cup oatmeal. So we will replace the flour and add even more fiber and nutrients to our brownie. The flakes should be crushed first.
  • 1 egg.
  • Any sweetener of your choice.

First, beat the egg with sweetener and butter. In a separate container, mix flour, oatmeal, cocoa, baking powder and soda. Add the egg mixture and flour to the grated zucchini. Mix everything thoroughly and put it in the mold. Bake for about 30 minutes at 180 degrees.

PP brownies in the microwave

If you don’t have time for baking, but don’t want to disrupt your healthy diet, you can always prepare a dessert in a few minutes using the microwave. Yes, yes, you heard right! Just a few minutes - and a delicious and healthy pp brownie is ready!

  • 3 tablespoons of oatmeal. To make our dessert truly dietary, we will give up regular wheat flour and replace it with oatmeal. This way we will get more nutrients and fiber, which promotes weight loss.
  • 1 egg
  • 2 teaspoons cocoa. We will use low-fat cocoa to make diet brownies. Since our pp brownie is prepared without sugar, make sure that it does not contain cocoa.
  • 3 tablespoons of milk. You can use low-fat milk.
  • Natural sweetener. We will use honey in this recipe, but you can choose another substitute.
  • 1/3 teaspoon baking powder.

Chocolate brownie with pumpkin

Prepare pumpkin puree in advance using any of these methods:

  • wrap a piece of pumpkin without the crust in foil and bake in the oven until soft, then puree with a blender;
  • cut the pumpkin, peel it, into small pieces, place in a saucepan, add water and cook until soft for about 15 minutes. Then drain the water and puree it with an immersion blender;
  • Buy ready-made pumpkin puree in the baby food department.

The first method is preferable. Here the pumpkin will retain more flavors, which it will later impart to our dessert. More details on how to prepare the puree are shown in the recipe for pumpkin pancakes.

Pour the required amount of granulated sugar into a cup and beat in the eggs.

Using a mixer, beat eggs with sugar until lightly whitened and fluffy foam forms.

Sift the flour into a separate bowl, add salt and baking powder, mix thoroughly with a spoon. Using a mixer, beat well to obtain a homogeneous viscous dough, the consistency of thick sour cream.

Place the required amount of pumpkin puree into a small bowl, add vegetable oil, and mix with a spoon.

Break the dark chocolate into small pieces and place in a heat-resistant bowl, add butter. Melt the butter with dark chocolate in a double boiler or in the microwave at 750 W for about 2 minutes. Here are other methods showing how to melt chocolate.

Mix with a spoon until smooth.

From the previously prepared dough, put 1/3 of the dough into another cup.

Add melted dark chocolate and butter to the remaining dough and beat well with a mixer until smooth. The chocolate dough is ready.

Add pumpkin puree with vegetable oil to the cup with the remaining dough, and beat thoroughly with a mixer until smooth. Pumpkin dough is ready.

Line the pan with baking parchment. Pour in the chocolate dough, reserving 8 teaspoons, and smooth with a pastry spatula.

Note: I used a 10*25 centimeter mold.

Place the pumpkin dough on top of the chocolate dough, spreading it evenly over the entire surface using a pastry spatula.

Place the remaining chocolate dough randomly on top in one teaspoon portions.

Bake pumpkin brownies in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for about 40-45 minutes until done.

Important!

The finished product should be slightly damp inside. It is advisable not to overdry it. To check, pierce the pastry with a match - it should be slightly damp.

Remove the baked brownie from the oven, cool until warm, cut into portions and serve. Bon appetit!
