Unfortunately, this product is quite perishable. It must be stored at -7°C. Fresh tofu has a sweetish taste. Sour tofu needs to be boiled for 10 minutes.

Making tofu goulash
Throw frozen vegetables into boiling water and boil for 5-7 minutes. They should not be completely cooked because they may fall apart and turn the goulash into porridge.
Peel the onion, cut into cubes or half rings. Pour vegetable oil into a deep frying pan and heat it up. Add the onion, and when it is slightly browned, add the tofu cut into cubes (about 1x1 cm).
Fry until golden brown, then add vegetables. Brown them slightly with the lid open.
Dilute tomato paste in half a glass of water. Pour the tomato into the goulash, add spices and dried herbs, and salt.
Simmer with the lid closed for 5-7 minutes. If there is any liquid left after this, keep the pan on the fire for a little longer with the lid open so that the excess water evaporates.
It is recommended to serve tofu goulash with vegetables hot, with pasta or boiled cereals.

- lemon juice – 6 tbsp. l.;
- boiling water – 2 cups;
- cold clean water – 1 glass.
How to make tofu at home:
- Mix soy flour and water in a separate small saucepan until a thick mixture forms.
- Then add boiling water and cook for 10-15 minutes.
- Pour in lemon juice, stir, remove from heat.
- After the mass has settled, pass it through a colander (preferably gauze).
- Store the bean curd in the refrigerator, filled to the top with water.
- Cottage cheese can be frozen - then over time the product will not lose its beneficial properties.
Omelette with tofu
To prepare a delicious omelette with tofu cheese, you need to finely chop it and lightly simmer the cheese in sunflower or olive oil. Next, beat the eggs in a separate bowl and add them to the cheese. The omelet should be fried until the eggs “set”. Season the omelet to taste:

Ingredients
- Tofu – 500 g
- Vegetable oil - 3 tbsp. l.
- Onion - 1 small head
- Green onions - 4 feathers
- Soy sauce - 3 tbsp. l.
- Honey - 2 tbsp. l.
- Sweet wine or sake - 1 tbsp. l.
- Chopped garlic - 1 tbsp. l.
- Chopped ginger root - 1 tbsp. l.
- Sesame oil - 1 tsp.
- Sesame seeds - 1 tsp.
- Ground black pepper
- Ground hot pepper
Preparation
- Cut the tofu into 2 cm cubes and place on a paper napkin, cover with another napkin on top and press with the bottom of the plate for 10 minutes to remove excess moisture.
- Mix soy sauce, honey, wine, ginger, garlic and hot pepper in a bowl. Leave it alone.
- Heat a wok or heavy-bottomed frying pan over medium heat. Add vegetable oil, heat it and carefully, so as not to burn yourself, place tofu pieces into the oil. Fry for about 8-10 minutes, until golden brown, and then place on a paper napkin.
- In the same frying pan, in a small amount of vegetable oil over low heat, fry for 1 minute, chopped onions and green feathers, cut diagonally into 5 cm pieces.
- Add the soy mixture and cook for another 2 minutes until the sauce has reduced slightly. Add the tofu and stir until all the pieces are coated with the sauce.
- Drizzle with sesame oil and sprinkle with sesame seeds. You can add pepper if you wish.
- Serve with boiled white rice.

Ingredients
- 6 cherry tomatoes
- 1 fresh cucumber
- 2 tbsp. tablespoons pitted olives
- 80 g tofu cheese
- 2 tbsp. spoons of wheat crackers
- lettuce leaves
- pinch of dried oregano
- vegetable oil
- juice of half a lemon
- ground black pepper
- salt
Preparation
Cut the tomatoes into halves. Cut the cucumber into half circles, olives into rings, and tofu into cubes. Combine the prepared products, salt and pepper. Season with a mixture of oil, lemon juice and oregano. Line the bottom of a flat dish with washed and dried lettuce leaves. Place the prepared mixture on top and sprinkle with crackers.
