10 best pasta casserole recipes for every taste

A very tasty dish for dessert or as any meal - cottage cheese casserole with poppy seeds. It is very simple to prepare, and you can get a new taste every time by experimenting with products. For example, you can add sugar, condensed milk or honey, kefir, sour cream or milk. You can bake a fluffier or thinner casserole - it depends on the baking dish you choose. To prepare a relatively dense dessert, it is better to take a mold with low sides and a large diameter. In a deep pan, the casserole will be more loose and airy.

Preparation

1. Take a suitable sized bowl and pour cottage cheese into it (if you are preparing a casserole for children, it is better to use low-fat cottage cheese). If desired, mash it with a fork or use an immersion blender to obtain a more homogeneous curd mass.

2. Beat the egg into a bowl and add sugar.

3. Pour poppy seeds into a bowl and add a little ground cinnamon, vanilla sugar if desired.

4. Add a little kefir and baking powder.

5. Pour semolina into a bowl; you can replace it with wheat flour.

6. Mix everything thoroughly. Place the bowl with the curd mass in a cool place so that the semolina swells.

7. Cover the baking dish with foil. Grease the foil with vegetable or butter, sprinkle with a small amount of semolina and lay out the curd mass, level and place in an oven preheated to 180 degrees.

Recipe

cottage cheese casserole with poppy seeds:

Prepare the dough. Sift flour into a bowl, add powdered sugar and mix.

Add cold butter cubes to flour mixture.

With quick movements, grind everything together until it becomes crumbly.

Add the egg yolk to the center of the butter crumbs (no white required) and also knead the dough quite quickly. Don't try to make it uniform, just gather the crumbs into a single ball. By the way, if there is not enough moisture in the dough (this is possible, since flour varies in quality), then add a teaspoon of ice water or a small part of the protein.

Wrap the finished dough in cling film, knead it slightly with your hand and place it in the refrigerator for 30-40 minutes.

Make the filling. Rinse the poppy seeds and pour boiling water over them. Leave it to steam for 30 minutes.

Place the steamed poppy seeds in a fine sieve.

Using a coffee grinder or meat grinder, grind the poppy seeds with sugar.

Chop the almonds with a knife and add to the poppy seeds.

Stir and set aside for now.

Meanwhile, remove the chilled dough from the refrigerator. Using your hands, distribute it into a mold with a diameter of 21-22 cm. Form small sides. Prick the surface of the dough with a fork.

Cover the dough with a sheet of parchment or foil and fill the form with a load (peas, beans). In this form, bake the base for 15 minutes at 190 C.

After 15 minutes, remove the weight and return the pan to the oven for another 10 minutes until the base is completely baked.

Let the finished sand base cool slightly.

Prepare the curd filling for the syromak. Place the cottage cheese in the bowl of a food processor, add granulated sugar and vanilla sugar. Grind the cottage cheese with sugar until you obtain a homogeneous plastic mass.

Add soft butter and stir it into the curd mixture.

Beat in 3 eggs one at a time, mixing the mixture thoroughly each time.

Pour in the heavy cream and stir.

Add a tablespoon of potato starch and also stir until completely smooth. The curd filling for the casserole is ready!

Add the egg yolk to the reserved poppy seed filling and stir.

Beat the egg white to stiff peaks and carefully fold into the poppy seed mixture.

Assemble the pie. Place the poppy seed filling on the bottom of the sand base and smooth the surface with a spatula.

Place the curd mixture on top of the poppy seed filling.

Bake syromak at 150-160 C for about 1 hour. If your oven bakes unevenly, it is better to bake the casserole in a water bath. To do this, if the mold is detachable, wrap it on the outside in 2 layers of foil and place it in a larger deep baking pan. Pour boiling water into a baking tray so that its level reaches the middle of the pie pan and bake the syromak in this form.

Before serving, let the cottage cheese casserole cool completely and rest in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours (cool the cake in the pan).

Transfer the cooled cheesecake to a plate and serve.

Baked pasta dish with tomato sauce

Description

You've never tried a casserole like this before! At least today I tasted this unusual dessert for the first time: a tender, juicy cottage cheese casserole with pieces of baked apples and crispy poppy seeds; absolutely low-fat, without butter, semolina, flour and even sugar!

The role of a dry ingredient, instead of semolina, starch or flour, is played by poppy seeds, which also gives it an original crunchy taste and speckled appearance. And honey gives sweetness. However, if you wish, you can use sugar instead of honey.

This is the most dietary casserole of all that we have prepared - cottage cheese, semolina, pumpkin, except that rice with dried apricots can compete in ease with this recipe. The casserole with poppy seeds is cooked in a water bath, so it turns out even more tender, lighter, and not crispy.

And it’s very easy to prepare cottage cheese casserole with apples - you will need 10 minutes to mix the ingredients, you can rest for another 40 minutes while the casserole is in the oven. And then we treat the family to a light, healthy and delicious dessert! Thank you for the recipe from chef Tashka from the Cookery website!

Pasta casserole for children (sweet)

Sweet pasta casserole can be served to children as breakfast. Although it is suitable for any other meal, for example: as a dessert. You can prepare a sweet casserole from the following products:

  • pasta – 400-500 g (it is better to take horns, although other small pasta, such as noodles, will also work);
  • cottage cheese – 500 g;
  • sugar – 100 g;
  • milk or cream – 200-250 ml;
  • egg – 1 pc.;
  • breadcrumbs - for sprinkling the mold;
  • raisins - to taste.

Boil the pasta according to the instructions on the package, drain in a colander and rinse. Mash the cottage cheese, mix with sugar and half a dose of milk (cream). In principle, the resulting mass can be slightly beaten with a blender. Add raisins to the finished curd filling and mix the whole mixture again. Place all the pasta in a baking dish greased and sprinkled with breadcrumbs. Place a layer of cottage cheese on them. Pour the beaten egg mixture with the remaining milk (cream) on top of the future casserole. You need to keep this casserole in the oven for 15-20 minutes. The optimal temperature is the same 180°C.

Ingredients:

  • 450-470 g of cottage cheese;
  • 5-6 eggs;
  • 5-6 tablespoons of honey or sugar;
  • 4 tablespoons of dry poppy seeds;
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt;
  • 2 medium apples;
  • A little butter for greasing the molds.

This is if the molds are ceramic or metal. But it’s best to bake in silicone ones: it’s easier to get the finished casserole out of them. You can use one large mold, or you can use several small ones, then you will get portioned mini-casseroles, similar to cupcakes.

Instructions:

If the eggs are large, 5 pieces are enough; if they are small, you can use 6. Don’t worry if the curd mass seems too liquid: during the baking process it will set and the casserole will hold its shape well.

The cottage cheese can be rubbed, or you can simply knead it with your hands, or beat it in a blender - the more homogeneous the curd, without grains, the more tender the consistency of the dessert will be.

Add eggs to the cottage cheese and beat with a mixer or whisk until smooth, similar to a delicate cream.

Wash the apples, remove the cores, but you don’t have to peel them: then the pieces will be denser and more elegant - the casserole will turn out with colored splashes. Cut the apples into small pieces and add to the cottage cheese.

Pour dry poppy seeds in there (small heaped spoons).

And add honey. There is an opinion that when heated, honey becomes unhealthy; I haven’t figured out how true this is yet - but if in doubt, you can replace the honey in the casserole with sugar, and then pour honey over the finished casserole when serving.

Mix everything well.

And put it into molds.

And we put the molds in another mold, larger, with high sides, and pour water into the bottom.

Fans of cottage cheese dishes have probably long known the widest variety of casseroles with and without additives. Therefore, a real gastronomic discovery for them will be a cottage cheese casserole with poppy seeds - syromak, which is also called “Polish cheesecake”.

Syromak pie is a national dish of Polish cuisine, which has long gained fame throughout the world. The poppy seeds in the composition make the baked goods weighty and high in calories. However, the pie turns out to be very tender and airy in taste. It is even compared to the famous cheesecake. And not only because syromak contains cottage cheese, but also because it is as capricious in preparation as the famous American dessert.

For syromak, be sure to use the fattest cottage cheese so that the baked goods do not turn out dry and crumbly. If you use classic cottage cheese, then you definitely need to season it well with butter.

A recipe for cottage cheese casserole with poppy seeds is simply unthinkable without an impressive amount of poppy seeds, which, for ease of preparation, must be soaked in hot water for several hours.

It is better to prepare the dough base for cottage cheese casserole with poppy seeds in the oven the day before baking, so that it rests in the refrigerator overnight. And at every stage of working with it, it must be cooled - starting from the cold ingredients and the bowl in which the dough will be kneaded, ending with keeping the dough in the mold for half an hour before sending it to the preheated oven. Cottage cheese casserole with poppy seeds “Syromak” requires strict adherence to the recipe. In the oven it needs to be baked only in a water bath!

Pasta casserole with milk and eggs

Ingredients

  • 200 g pasta;
  • 50 g butter;
  • 3 eggs;
  • 50–80 g sugar;
  • salt - to taste;
  • 1 pinch of vanillin;
  • 300 ml milk;
  • jam - to taste.

Preparation

Boil the pasta until tender and cool. Place in a baking dish and mix with butter.

Beat the eggs first with sugar, salt and vanilla, and then with milk.

Pour the egg mixture over the pasta and bake for about 20-25 minutes at 200°C.

Then leave in the switched off oven for another 5-10 minutes. Before serving, pour over the jam.

Preparation

  1. Prepare the dough. First add the dry ingredients into the bowl of a food processor or blender, then add the chopped butter. After mixing you should have fine crumbs. Break an egg into it and quickly knead the dough. Cover it with film and put it in the refrigerator for a couple of hours.
  2. Take out the dough and quickly knead again (lightly flour your work surface before working), then roll out into a thin rectangular layer and cool again for a quarter of an hour. Then take it out, place it in a baking dish, pierce it in several places with a fork and put it back in the refrigerator. After half an hour, remove and place in the oven at 180°C for fifteen minutes. The finished base should be golden in color.
  3. Now make the poppy seed filling. Throw the poppy seeds pre-soaked in water into a fine sieve and let the water drain.
  4. Grind the poppy seeds in a blender or food processor, mix thoroughly with honey, sugar and the yolk of one egg.
  5. In a separate bowl (it should be clean and dry), beat the egg white and carefully add to the poppy seed mixture.
  6. Prepare the curd mass. Beat the cottage cheese until smooth, add zest, vanilla and yolks to it and mix thoroughly.
  7. In a separate bowl, beat the butter and sugar until fluffy (add it gradually). Then, without ceasing to beat, add the curd mixture to the mixture in parts. At the end, also add cream in parts.
  8. For the sauce, beat sour cream, sugar and egg with a mixer until the sugar grains are completely dissolved.
  9. Assemble the cheesecake: place poppy seeds in an even layer on the base, curd mixture on top, and sour cream sauce at the end. Carefully level all layers.
  10. Place the mold with the preparation in a baking tray, pour boiling water into it so that it half covers the mold with the cheesecake. Bake for about an hour at 170°C. The sour cream filling should become creamy in color - only then can the cheesecake be taken out of the oven, cooled and allowed to sit in the refrigerator for several hours.

    The finished syromak must be allowed to brew. When hot or even warm, it is difficult to cut into pieces. But when chilled, it is more pliable and incredibly tasty!

Then place the chopped sausages in the frying pan and fry along with the onion for 2-3 minutes.

3. Preheat the oven to 180-200 degrees. Cover the sheet with foil or baking paper. 4. Place a little more than half of the boiled pasta on a sheet. 5. Lay the sausage and onion filling on top. 6.
