Then cut all the ingredients except the egg yolk, herbs and nuts into small strips. And chop the yolk with nuts and herbs (separately). Then we assemble the salad, laying it out in layers, coating the layers with mayonnaise and sprinkling with salt:
Leave the last layer of yolks dry (without mayonnaise), but sprinkle it with herbs.
Salad "Lady's whim"
Why this name? Probably, a certain lady got capricious and decided to prepare the “Tenderness” salad a little differently. So it turned out to be a lady's whim with chicken, prunes and cucumbers.
- Boiled chicken breast – 500 g;
- Hard-boiled eggs – 5 pieces;
- Prunes – 200 g;
- Fresh cucumbers – 3 pieces;
- Walnuts and herbs for decoration.
- Mayonnaise – 3 tablespoons;
- Sunflower oil – 3 tablespoons;
- Pepper and salt – a pinch each.
If the composition of this salad is almost identical to the previous one, then the preparation is somewhat different. Boil the chicken in advance or grill it, cool and cut into strips. We also cut the cucumber into strips, which we first wash, and grate the hard-boiled eggs. We wash the prunes and cut them into halves, and chop the nuts to coarse crumbs. We also add the salad in layers, seasoning with salt and pepper:
Drizzle the eggs with vegetable oil and sprinkle with walnuts. And once again we lay all the layers in the same sequence. Pour mayonnaise over the salad and decorate with herbs.
There are also completely different salad recipes called “Lady’s whim”. True, almost all of them contain chicken and nuts.
Salad “Pestrushka Chicken”
One of the interpretations of salad with chicken and prunes. It is also prepared with tomatoes, but we will prepare this salad with fresh cucumber.
- Boiled chicken breast – 1 piece;
- Prunes – 200 g;
- Fresh cucumber – 1-2 pieces;
- Cheese (hard) – 150 g;
- Leaf lettuce - 4-5 leaves;
- Mayonnaise and salt for dressing.
First, soak the prunes in warm water. While it is soaking there, separate the chicken fillet from the bones, lightly beat it and fry it in vegetable oil. Let the meat cool and cut it into strips. We cut the cucumber and softened prunes into strips, and grate the cheese. Place all these products in a bowl, add salt, mayonnaise and mix well. We lay out the lettuce leaves on a flat dish, and put the salad on top in a heap. Serve chilled.
Salad with mushrooms and nuts
Often, in order to diversify the texture of the salad, solid ingredients are added to it, which will give the dish a pleasant taste. - salt pepper;

- grated Parmesan.
Preparation
Heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the chili peppers, garlic and thin onion rings, with bell pepper cubes and mushroom plates. Stir constantly and fry for 6-7 minutes until soft. After time, season the vegetables and mushrooms with pepper and salt. Mix warm vegetables with lettuce leaves and sprinkle with chopped nuts and grated cheese before serving.
Salad with chicken, mushrooms and nuts
Ingredients:
- chicken fillet – 1 pc.;
- pine nuts – 1/2 tbsp.;
- olive oil – 1/4 cup;
- balsamic vinegar - 2 tbsp. spoons;
- grain mustard - 3 teaspoons;
- mushrooms – 500 g;
- green onions;
- salad mixture – 150 g;
- bread.
Preparation
Quickly fry the pine nuts until browned and transfer them to a plate. Now pour oil into the pan, add mustard and vinegar. Bring the mixture to a light boil and simmer for 2 minutes until thickened. Place pieces of mushrooms into the thickened sauce, mix and transfer them to a bowl.
Boil the chicken fillet in salted water, cool and separate into fibers.
Add chicken, nuts and chopped green onions to the mushrooms, mix everything and serve on top of a bed of mixed salad. Sprinkle everything with salt and pepper. Serve the salad with a slice of fried bread.
Salad with chicken, mushrooms, walnuts and cheese
Ingredients:
- chicken fillet – 200 g;
- carrots – 1 pc.;
- onions – 1 pc.;
- potatoes – 1 pc.;
- grated hard cheese – 1/2 cup;
- eggs – 2 pcs.;
- walnuts – 1 handful;
- pickled mushrooms (champignons, chanterelles) – 200 g;
- mayonnaise - for dressing;
- vegetable oil;
- salt pepper.
Preparation
Boil the chicken fillet in salted water until tender, cool and cut into cubes. Grate the onions and carrots on a coarse grater and fry in vegetable oil until soft. Boil the eggs hard. Boil potatoes in their skins, peel and cut into cubes. We cut the marinated mushrooms into thin slices, and chop the nuts into smaller pieces using a knife.
Now that all the ingredients are prepared, it's time to assemble the salad. On a flat dish, we begin to place the ingredients in layers: the first layer is sauteed carrots and onions, followed by cubes of chicken fillet, mushroom slices, chopped nuts. Next, repeat the layer of potatoes, eggs and mayonnaise. Place grated cheese on top of the last layer. Let the salad soak for several hours in the refrigerator and serve.
Oriental salad with mushrooms and nuts
Ingredients:
- fresh ginger – 2 teaspoons;
- garlic – 1 clove;
- pearl barley – 220 g;
- water – 1 l;
- champignons – 200 g;
- green beans – 150 g;
- nuts – 35 g;
- balsamic vinegar - 1 tbsp. spoon;
- soy sauce – 2 teaspoons;
- olive oil – 2 teaspoons.
Preparation
Fry garlic and ginger with pearl barley and add water. Cook the cereal for 30-35 minutes.
Fry chopped mushrooms and beans in a frying pan, add pieces of nuts a couple of minutes until cooked. Mix pearl barley with mushrooms, nuts and vegetables. Season the salad with a mixture of vinegar, soy sauce and oil.
Salad with chicken, prunes and pickled cucumber
Finally, we present to you a completely unexpected salad, in which instead of a fresh cucumber you put a salted one. Well, experiment, experiment!
- Smoked chicken breast – 1 piece;
- Pickled cucumber – 1 piece;
- Prunes – 1 handful;
- Eggs – 4 pieces;
- Walnuts (kernels) - half a glass;

- ½ tsp. chopped chili pepper;
- 3 pcs. bell pepper;
- 3 cloves of garlic;
- 3 tbsp. l. balsamic vinegar;
- 5 tbsp. l. chopped walnuts;
- 100 g grated Parmesan cheese;
- Salt.
Heat olive oil in a deep frying pan, add chili pepper along with chopped garlic.
Fry for 1-2 minutes. over medium heat, add onion cut into half rings, as well as diced bell pepper.
Fry for 5-7 minutes. over low heat and add the chopped champignons.
Without changing the heat intensity, continue frying for another 10 minutes.
Place all fried ingredients in a separate bowl and add salt to taste.
Add vinegar, ½ grated cheese and walnut kernels.
Add the lettuce leaves cut into pieces and mix gently.
