When you cook spaghetti with minced meat and tomato sauce, you don’t need to think about the calorie content of the dish. Why think about sad things when you can enjoy a magnificent representative of Italian cuisine. I like that the dish is prepared from the simplest ingredients that can be found in the bins of every kitchen. There are not many of them, although the recipe can be varied if desired.
If it's in season, replace the tomato paste with fresh tomatoes, it will turn out much tastier. Choose only durum pasta. Take any meat - pork, beef, chicken, or combine two varieties to make it tastier. That's all the tips for preparing food. All that remains is to choose a recipe and get the ingredients.
Spaghetti with minced meat and tomato paste - a simple recipe (step by step)
This is not a real classic Italian pasta. The dish is adapted to our realities so that everyone, even the least experienced housewife, can cope with the preparation.
You will need:
- Meat – 500 gr.
- Spaghetti – 250 gr.
- Bulb.
- Carrot.
- Tomato paste – 3 large spoons.
- Paprika – ½ small spoon.
- Garlic cloves – a couple.
- Pepper, salt - to taste.
- Sunflower oil.
How to cook:
Chop the carrots into small cubes.
Do the same with the onion.
Heat oil in a frying pan, add chopped onion.
As soon as the cubes become transparent, add the carrots.
Add minced meat. If you take store-bought, defrost it first. Continue frying, breaking the meat into smaller fractions.
Chop the garlic cloves and add to the meat. Fry further, stirring the contents of the pan frequently.
After 8-10 minutes of frying, add tomato paste.
Salt, pepper and season the sauce with paprika. If desired, use other seasonings, for example, a ready-made collection of Italian herbs. Stir, reduce heat. Continue to simmer the food over low heat for another 15 minutes. Be sure to cover the pan with a lid.
During this time, stir the gravy a couple of times. If you notice that there is not enough liquid, add some broth or simply splash some water.
While cooking, set the spaghetti to cook. Cook according to the instructions, but reduce the number of minutes a little so that the spaghetti comes out al dente, that is, slightly undercooked, like real Italian pasta.
Place the finished pasta on a plate. Add a mound of meat on top. Bon appetit!

Cooking navy pasta in a frying pan
If you want to get real navy pasta, then try making pasta with ground beef. Preparing such a dish is simple and will not take much time, but how tasty and unusual it will look on the dinner table.
- Peel the onion and chop it finely.
- Place the minced meat (if it was frozen, defrost it in advance) and the onion in one bowl, knead it thoroughly with your hands.
- Sprinkle the meat with pepper and salt.
- Heat the frying pan in oil, place the minced meat and onions on the hot bottom, fry the product over medium heat (stirring occasionally) for at least 15 minutes.
- Cook the pasta until cooked, drain the water from the pan, and transfer the products themselves to the frying pan with the minced meat.
- Mix all ingredients thoroughly. Fry the pasta navy style for 5 minutes over low (closer to medium) heat.
That's it - the dish is ready. If you want to give it more piquancy, season the finished treat with any sauce (possibly spicy) or ketchup. It will turn out simple and at the same time quite elegant.
In addition to beef, you can use other types of minced meat to prepare various meat dishes: pork, chicken, turkey, etc. It is also better to make them at home rather than buy them ready-made in supermarkets. The technology for processing different types of meat into minced meat is similar to the production of minced beef.

You are free to put whatever you want into it, the main thing is in reasonable quantities and in combination with the characteristics of the meat you are preparing.
In our recipe, this is beef, from which mince has yet to be made. It is not recommended to buy it ready-made at the market/store; you still won’t find better quality and taste than homemade.

- Garlic – 2 cloves;
- Onions (preferably red) – 1 pc.;
- Ground pepper - to taste;
- Carrots – 2 pcs.;
- Olive oil – 1 tbsp;

How to properly fry minced meat in a frying pan
- We grind the meat in a meat grinder and get minced meat in its pure form, without impurities or additives.
- Heat the olive oil in a frying pan and add the resulting meat product into it.
- Distribute the meat evenly in the pan, simmer it over medium heat in its own juices until it is slightly browned.
- While the meat is stewing, we begin to prepare the carrots: peel them, rinse them, and cut them into thin half rings.
- We also chop the onion, then chop the celery.
- When all the liquid has evaporated from the frying pan and the minced meat has acquired the brownish tint we need, add salt, pepper, and your favorite spices (thyme and rosemary are excellent).
- Press the garlic under pressure and add it to the browned meat.
- Next, put the chopped vegetables in the pan, pour soy sauce over everything, mix the products and give them a little more time to cook.
- Simmer the dish over medium heat (if the meat starts to burn, add a little broth or water) until the vegetables soften. This completes the simple preparation.
How long does it take on average to roast minced meat at home? – 30-40 minutes. However, even such a low indicator can become even lower if the minced meat is prepared in advance and used already defrosted. Frozen meat after defrosting will be no worse than freshly twisted meat, but there is no need to freeze and thaw it many times.

At the same stage, we thoroughly mix the contents of the frying pan, increase the heat and leave the mass to simmer for 20 - 25 minutes. 4. Depending on the required consistency, evaporate a certain amount of moisture and serve hot as a separate dish, or as a side dish for potatoes, pasta, or buckwheat porridge.
