How to bake chicken in sour cream sauce

From the simplest and most affordable ingredients - chicken and sour cream, you can prepare a delicious family lunch. Serve it with crumbly porridge or homemade noodles so that the sauce does not disappear.

Ingredients:

  • 1 chicken carcass;
  • 120 g onion;
  • 250 g fat sour cream;
  • 4 slices of garlic;
  • 1 handful of flour;
  • 35-40 g melted butter;
  • season to taste.

How to cook:

  1. Wash the carcass and chop into pieces. Season with spices and leave on the refrigerator shelf for 15-20 minutes.
  2. Heat a frying pan with melted butter, put the meat in it, and fry. Then transfer to a greased pan.
  3. Prepare a sauce from rich sour cream: fry the onion in butter until soft, add flour, cook for another 2 minutes with constant stirring. Pour in ½ cup of clean water, sour cream, mix well, season with spices.
  4. Pour sour cream sauce over the chicken pieces and place the pan in the oven for 45 minutes at 160 degrees.

ON A NOTE! To prevent sour cream from curdling, use a product with a fat content higher than 20% and pour a little milk into the sauce.

How to cook penne with chicken with creamy mushroom sauce

We start by putting water on the fire and at this time we begin preparing the sauce.

Step 1

Chicken fillet (200 g) is trimmed from excess (fat, bones and skin) and cut into small cubes. Place it all in a heated frying pan with a drop of oil. You can add a little salt and pepper to make the meat juicier and tastier. Fry for a few minutes until an appetizing crust appears, and then remove from the pan.

Step 2

Cut the onion (1 piece) into medium cubes, crush the garlic (3 cloves) or finely chop. We send it to fry in a frying pan from which we just removed the chicken.

Mushrooms can be any, but I used the most ordinary champignons (25o g), although I think it will turn out even tastier with chanterelles or porcini mushrooms. They need to be cut into approximately the same pieces as the onions and sent to the garlic and onions. Leave for 5 minutes so that the mushrooms can fry.

Step 3

Add cream (200 ml), chicken and spices (salt, pepper, nutmeg and thyme) to the sauce. I advise you to be careful with salt - the cheese is quite salty, it is better to add salt to the plate than to over-salt it at all. Stir and leave to evaporate for another couple of minutes.

Step 4

Our sauce is almost ready, all that remains is to add 80% finely grated Parmesan and 80% chopped basil.

Step 5

Add the boiled pasta to the sauce, mix and serve. Decorate with remaining cheese and basil. Pasta is best served with dry Italian wine, but in its absence, we added a shot of Italian limoncella to the dish.

Quick and tasty recipe in a frying pan

The recipe uses a light dressing of cream and mustard, which does not overload the taste of the dish. In addition to vegetables, mashed potatoes, rice or pasta are served as a side dish.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup heavy cream;
  • 1 chicken;
  • 10 champignons;
  • 8 g mustard;
  • 1 red onion;
  • garlic to taste;
  • sage sprig;
  • salt to taste.

Preparation:

  1. Cut the chicken carcass into medium pieces and place in a large frying pan. Add a little garlic (pass through a press), pepper, and a little salt.
  2. Place onion half rings and champignon slices on top.
  3. Make the sauce: combine mustard with cream, add chopped sage leaves, spices, mix everything.
