  • vanilla sugar and baking powder - 1 tsp each.

  • 310 g flour
  • 4.5 tbsp. l. corn starch
  • 1 tbsp. l. soy flour (optional)
  • 175 g sugar
  • 1 tbsp. l. baking powder
  • 0.5 tsp. soda
  • 300 ml and 4–5 tbsp. l. plant milk
  • 160 ml vegetable oil
  • 3 tbsp. l. cocoa powder
  • half a lemon
  • a pinch of salt
  • 100 g dark chocolate
  • a handful of nuts and 3 tbsp. l. vegetable milk for decoration

Preparation

  1. Combine two types of flour, starch, sugar, baking powder, soda and salt.
  2. Make a depression in the center. Pour in 300 ml of vegetable milk, add butter, vanilla, lemon juice and finely grated lemon zest.
  3. Mix until smooth. Divide the dough into two equal parts. Pour the rest of the milk into one of them and add cocoa. Stir.
  4. Grease a baking pan and sprinkle with flour. Alternately pour dark and light dough into the pan to form a pattern.
  5. Bake at 180 degrees for about 50 minutes.
  6. Make the frosting. To do this, melt the chocolate in a water bath and mix with vegetable milk. Cover the cake with frosting and sprinkle with chopped nuts.
